How install pricing works

Every quote breaks down into three pieces: deposit (locks your slot, covers materials at 2× wholesale), install labor (at $100/hr, varies by job complexity), and any add-on service fees below.

Older / messier wiring (90s Civics, classic builds, salvage cars) typically adds $50–100 to the labor estimate. I'll itemize before any work starts.

Service fee menu (add-ons, optional)

Diagnostic fee — $50. Bring me a broken existing install for assessment.
Removal / de-install — $40–80. Rip out previous garbage installs before clean rebuild.
Custom programming — $50. Multi-zone scene mapping (the time I spend in the app dialing your build).
Mobile call-out — $30 + $0.65/mile. Travel cost for your driveway or shop.
After-hours — 1.5× labor ($150/hr). Weekday after 6pm or weekends.
Rush job — 1.5× labor ($150/hr). 24–48hr turnaround when you need it yesterday.

How to book

DM @glowmo_by_domo on Instagram. Tell me your car (year/make/model), the type of build you want, and your zip code.
I send a custom quote. Itemized: materials, labor estimate, total, deposit amount.
You pay the deposit. Stripe link arrives. Slot locks once it clears.
Install day. I show up, do the work clean, hand you the keys with everything tested before I leave.
30-day check-in. If anything's off, I come back and fix it. That's the warranty.

FAQ

Do you do installs outside the 209 area?: Up to 60 miles from Modesto with the standard call-out fee. Bay Area or further by appointment + travel premium — message for a custom quote.
Can I bring my own LED kit?: Yes. I'll quote labor only. Note: I won't warranty parts I didn't supply, but workmanship warranty (30-day install integrity) still applies.
How long does an install take?: Underglow on a daily-driver: 2–3 hours. Full interior + exterior: 4–6 hours. Multi-zone show build: full day, sometimes split across two visits.
What if my car has weird wiring?: I bring a multimeter, a wiring diagnostic kit, and 20 years of "I've seen that before." Older / classic / salvage builds add $50–100 to labor; I'll itemize in the quote before starting.
Do you offer a payment plan?: Stripe checkout supports Affirm and Klarna for $50+ purchases. Or cash/Zelle/Cash App if you'd rather skip financing.
Are you insured?: Currently building toward a general liability policy. For peace of mind, I document every install with before/after photos, never disconnect critical safety wiring, and limit liability via written quote terms.
